The Blue Mountains Purchasing division is the centralized agency for the procurement of goods and services required by all departments. It is the duty of the Purchasing Division to acquire goods and services as economically as possible with due regard for price, quality, and delivery.

The Blue Mountains has determined that there is a need to include a greater range and depth of information about our community, through the creation of a Web Portal. It is intended that our new Web Portal will act as a conduit of information for residents (including newcomers), visitors, businesses, community groups and effectively all sectors within our community. The new site shall reflect the characteristics and strategic priorities of our Town, as identified by Council and by our Community Partners, gathered through an intensive staff-led engagement process. The Town like other communities across Ontario has experienced considerable change in the expectations of our community. More individuals, businesses and groups rely on the Internet for quick and accurate data. This has resulted in a need to create a Web Portal that will provide more clear and concise information, help build the knowledge base of site visitors and encourage citizen participation in local government. Completion of a Bidders Registration form is required to obtain bid documents for the above noted proposal.
