2016-05-P-IPW Engineering Services for Mary & Charles Streets Watermain Replacement & Fire Hydrant Installation Detailed Design and Contract Administration (RFPs)

The Town of The Blue Mountains (Town) wishes to engage a consulting engineering firm to provide engineering services for Mary & Charles Streets Watermain Replacement & Fire Hydrant Installation. The work will include detailed design, Proposal preparation, contract administration, construction and geotechnical inspection, provision of record drawings and warranty administration. Mary & Charles Streets are located in the Clarksburg Service Area within Town of The Blue Mountains and are presently serviced with Municipal water via a small diameter watermain and do not have fire protection. The assignment will see approximately 450 m of existing watermain and laterals replaced in accordance with current Town Engineering Standards and provide for new fire hydrants. The project limits include Mary Street from the intersection of Russell Street south to the end of Mary Street and Charles Street from the intersection at Mary Street west to the connection located on the west side of Marsh Street. The work is to include restoration of the boulevard and/or roadway over the watermain trench and areas disturbed during construction.
