The Blue Mountains Purchasing division is the centralized agency for the procurement of goods and services required by all departments. It is the duty of the Purchasing Division to acquire goods and services as economically as possible with due regard for price, quality, and delivery.

TBM-2009-33 Tender to Supply, Crush, Load, Haul, and Apply Granular 5/8" Crushed Gravel (Tenders)

The Town is releasing a Tender for the SUPPLYING, CRUSHING, LOADING, HAULING AND APPLYING of approximately 16,000 tonnes of Granular “A” - 5/8" Crushed Gravel. Gravel to be run through a primary crusher. The primary crusher must have the ability to remove silt and sand from crushed material to the satisfaction of the Town. The 5/8" crushed gravel for road maintenance to be available by September 1, 2009 or as required and as scheduled by the Manager of Roads & Drainage. The Contractor's equipment must supply, load, haul, and apply (by belly hopper truck) the crushed gravel at a minimum average rate of 4,000 tonnes per day. To be applied as required by approval of the Manager of Roads & Drainage and subject to the terms and conditions contained in the Tender Document.
