The Blue Mountains Purchasing division is the centralized agency for the procurement of goods and services required by all departments. It is the duty of the Purchasing Division to acquire goods and services as economically as possible with due regard for price, quality, and delivery.

TBM-2009-45 Tender for Lake Drive Water and Wastewater Extension Project (Tenders)

The Work generally consists of the supply and installation of sanitary collection works, including approximately 1,200 m of low pressure sewer, 38 low pressure sanitary services and related appurtenances. The supply and installation of water distribution works including approximately 900 m of watermain, 38 water services and related appurtenances. The reconstruction of roadworks, including excavation, grading, and placement and compaction of granular material; and related sitework, including retaining walls and grading and reinstatement of boulevards and driveways. The Work is anticipated to start August 1, 2009. The Work is to be completed, including road restoration, by November 30, 2009. Complete tender documents will be available for pick-up Tuesday, June 23, 2009 and may be obtained from C.C. Tatham & Associates Ltd. on payment in the amount of $160.00 ($152.38 + GST) per set payable to the Consulting Engineer which is non-refundable. The Town will conduct test excavations on Monday, June 29, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. for Bidders to observe the ground condition. All Bidders are encouraged to attend this investigation.
