Position Description:

The Town of The Blue Mountains is a growing and progressive, four-season community with stunning natural features, including the Niagara Escarpment, Beaver Valley and the Georgian Bay shoreline, and the various recreational activities and experiences they afford. We are seeking to fill a full time, permanent IT Infrastructure and Security Coordinator within the Finance and IT Services Department.

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Manager of IT, the Infrastructure and Security Coordinator will ensure the stability, integrity and efficient operation of the Town’s information technology infrastructure, systems and data through administration, design, project management, and protection from cyber threats, security and data breaches, and other malicious threats.

Required  Knoweldge, Skills & Experience:
•College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.•Extensive knowledge and experience with IT and cyber security, IT security related tools and technologies, IT controls, IT disaster recovery, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory, Blackberry, Server and Desktop hardware, Storage Area Networks, Routing and Switching, SCADA technologies, RADIUS and Two Factor Authentication, and Point to Point wireless wide area networking.•Knowledge and experience with Microsoft office, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (Diamond Municipal Software), Harris Computer Systems CityView, HPE Enterprise and Aruba Switches, Ubiquiti wireless access points, Dell KACE K1000 Management Appliance, IIS and other Web Technologies, Microsoft PowerShell and scripting, and Guidance Software EnCase eDiscovery.•Minimum 5 years managing network infrastructure and network security.•Minimum 5 years work experience in Information Technology in a Government setting preferred.•ITSM and/or project management experience.
