Wanna give back to your community? Here are some great ways for you to get involved with your local government, as well as score some volunteer community hours. Get to know the people who care about youth in your area; it’s a great experience for you AND it looks great on a resumé!

Community for Youth Coalition

Your local Youth coalition is always looking for more members! C4YC is a mix of Youth and adults who support youth working together to create a Youth friendly community. They’ve been a part of sweet events such as the Much Music Video Dance!

Youth Friendly Business Recognition Program

Have a favourite business? Help recognize Youth Friendly Businesses by delivering window decals of community recognition. We need help encouraging all businesses in our area to try and meet the criteria for a Youth Friendly Business as best they can.

Craigleith Depot

This is a great spot for someone who loves history...our natural environment and artefacts. The depot museum is always looking for help to label and dust off old artefacts as well as design educational kits for younger students.

Green House Gas Reduction Community Guide

Have a little bit of activism in you? Help distribute the green House Gas Reduction Guide to members of our community. Be part of a distribution/canvassing team!

Youth Town Website Team

Gain your hours by being on a consulting team. We are looking for input, art, pictures and blog topics. This is a great way to display your work and have your voice heard.
