As permitted under the Act and regulations, the Development Charges shall be indexed based on the Statistics Canada Construction Price Statistics, annually on January 1st in each year. They were indexed by 11.59% effective January 1, 2009.

The Town Landfill Site will be Closed on Saturdays for the winter season beginning December 5, 2009 November 28, 2009 will be the last open Saturday of the season, re-opening in April of 2010. The Site will continue to be Open Tuesdays and Fridays 8AM – 4PM
