GBHS Public Meeting December 7th, 7 pm at Bayshore Community Ctr., Owen Sound

Chaos in the Early Years & its Impact on Adolescents and Adults:Learning New Ways to Cope

GBHS is holding a public, free meeting on December 7 at the Bayshore in Owen Sound. One of the psychiatrists at Grey Bruce Health Services, Dr. Benjamin Loveday, is giving a public talk, aimed at helping adolescents and adults heal from childhood experiences of stress, chaos and trauma.  


Grey Bruce Health Services is hosting a public meeting to help parents, families, and care givers recognize and heal from the destructive coping strategies that evolve in adolescents and adults who suffer from this type of developmental trauma.

Speaker: Psychiatrist Dr. Benjamin Loveday

Date: December 7, 2017 Time: 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Place: Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre, 1900 3rd Ave E, Owen Sound, Rutherford Room

Dr. Loveday worked as an inpatient psychiatrist for the regional adolescent program at St. Joseph’s Health Care in London, Ontario, and is now working in the community with adolescents and their families. All are welcome at this event. Parking will be free.
