Local OPP and Salvation Army hold Annual Christmas Food and Toy Drive Dec 2 from 10 - 3

Collingwood: Wal-Mart Thornbury: Foodland

(COLLINGWOOD, ON) - Auxiliary officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in conjunction with the Salvation Army will be hosting their annual Christmas toy and food drive in Collingwood and Thornbury this weekend. 

   The drive will take place on Saturday December 2, 2017 at the Wal-Mart store in Collingwood and the Foodland store in Thornbury from 10:00am to 3:00pm where auxiliary officers and The Salvation Army will be accepting new unwrapped toys, cash donations and non-perishable food items to support families in the Collingwood area.

This is a yearly event organized by the Collingwood/The Blue Mountains OPP Auxiliary officers benefiting the local Salvation Army and has always been a great opportunity to spread some Christmas cheer.

     So come on over and donate for this worthy cause and help make someone's holidays more festive..
