Winter Wellness at L.E. Shore Library

NamasTEA: Yoga and Tea Break 

Saturday, January 20 10:30am - 11:30am at L.E. Shore Library.  Come learn gentle yoga techniques from local yoga instructor, Kass. Learn about the nature of yoga and how it can calm and de-stress. 45 minutes of yoga followed by a 15 minute herbal tea break. Move at your own pace. Wear comfortable clothing. Bring a yoga mat/blanket/towel. Bring water. $2/person.

DIY: Bath Bombs for Teens 

Wednesday, January 31 3:30pm - 5:00pm at L.E. Shore Library.  Amama Skincare will be at the L.E. Shore Library for Make Your Own Bath Bomb DIY Afternoon. Bath bombs are fizzy balls that fill your bath with color and great scents! They're really easy to make, so come on out and learn how to make your own using all natural products!  Materials will be provided Ages 12-18 years.  Free program. Please register online.

Yoga for Kids!

Every Wednesday in February 3:30pm - 4:30pm in the L.E. Shore Memorial Library Gallery. Join us to learn the basics of Yoga for Kids. Taught by certified yoga instructor, Kara, this class is a great way for youth to build confidence, de-stress, and create mindful behavior through deep breathing and gentle movement. Cost is by donation.  Dress comfortably and bring water and a yoga mat (or towel or blanket) Please register online.

SoulShine Kitchen Superfood Smoothies Workshop

Friday, February 9 10:30am - 11:30am at L.E. Shore Library Join Kara from SoulShine Kitchen at the L.E. Shore Memorial Library on Friday February 9th at 10:30am to learn how to easily make a nutritious smoothie out of superfoods. Sample different flavours of smoothies and find your favourite! Friday February 23 2pm-3pm at L.E. Shore Library.  Discover the healing power of essential oils. What exactly are they? How do they work? How do you get started?  Josi, from doTERRA, will be giving an Essential Oils & Aromatherapy 101 talk at the Library


Seniors Exercise

Every Monday and Wednesday 10:30am-11:30am at L.E. Shore Library.  Sitting or standing, no matter your ability. Improve your fitness and balance.  Cost is $2.
