Enjoy various vendors, activities, demonstrations and free fun for the entire family. Save the date for Saturday, September 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., rain or shine.

Georgian Hills Vineyard & Ardiel Cider House

During your Open Fields visit to Georgian Hills Vineyard & Ardiel Cider House, you'll be taken on a tour of the vineyard, learning about how the unique cool-climate wine region in The Blue Mountains makes some of Ontario's most vibrant wines, and some of the history behind the region's apples. Next, you'll get an inside look into their winemaking and the cider making process. Following the tour, you'll get a chance to enjoy the lovely atmosphere with tasting and retail opportunities for some of their products available upon completion of the tour. 

Farmer’s Pantry

Enjoy old-fashioned fun at the Farmer's Pantry. With a cedar maze, petting zoo, pick-your own apples, and more, this location has plenty of activities for the whole family. On your tour, meet the animals and explore the farm with Sarah and family. 

Oaklane Orchards

Oaklane Orchards is a family owned and operated farm specializing in high-quality apples, pears, and plums. Right in the heart of apple country, this farm features beautiful views of rolling hills, a farm store, and u-pick apples. Visiting this stop on the Open Fields Farm Tour, you'll learn all about the apple industry, and the work it takes to take an apple from seed to the delicious fruit you see on store shelves. 

Valley Ridge Family Farm

Experience a true family farm operation at Valley Ridge Family Farm, a fully equipped equestrian centre and forage operation, alongside farm tours and summer camps. At Open Fields, join the McAllisters and meet the Clydesdale horses, donkeys, goats and more. Learn more about hay-making, animal care, and operations as you explore the farm.


Learn About Open Fields 

Open Fields is a free, self-guided tour across different locations. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to bring cash and a cooler, as some of the stops will have products and activities available for purchase. For safety reasons, Open Fields is a pet-free event, so we ask that they’re left at home for the day. Remember to dress appropriately and bring proper footwear for fun on the farm.
