Tomahawk Recreation Complex- Soccer and Golf

In May 2007 the Town purchased 51.44 acres of land for the purpose of constructing soccer pitch facilities for the local minor sports program. The property also has a Par Three - 18 hole golf course that the municipality continues to maintain and operate as a “no fee” facility, programmed for youth and senior opportunities. Donations are always welcome.

Golf

The golf course is available on a first come first serve basis. Large groups of 20 or more may reserve a time slot by contacting Jody Hodgkinson, Administrative Assistant, Recreation at 519-599-3131 Ext. 254 or by email at jhodgkinson@thebluemountains.ca.

Hours of operation are sun up to 1/2 hour after sun down. The course is open seven days a week including holidays.

From Meaford

Take Highway 26 East toward Thornbury turn right onto Grey Road 113 (just past Goldsmith's Fruit Stand). Turn right onto Peel Street (10th Line). Tomahawk is the first entrance on the right. The civic address 417230 10th Line.

From Collingwood

Take Highway 26 West to Thornbury. Go through the Town of Thornbury heading towards Meaford. Turn left onto Grey Road 113 (just before Goldsmith's Fruit Stand). Turn right onto Peel Street (10th Line) first entrance on the right. The civic address 417230 10th Line.
