Our Design Concept
Chamberlain Architect Services Limited, Burlington, Ontario was selected to design the New Town Hall. Chamberlain’s selection followed a competitive “Request for Expression of Interest” and Limited Design Competition process involving 29 Architectural Firms from across Ontario.
The selection Committee noted that Chamberlain’s design respected the Town’s vision of creating a community gathering space, both on the Town Hall site and within the building itself; spoke to the industrial and railway heritage of the Site; and, paid homage to the architecture of Thornbury.
