Waste Collection Guides

 

Garbage (One Bag limit), Recyclables (Blue and Grey Box) and Organics (Green Bin) are collected weekly (Green Bin starts October 1, 2015). 

Yard Waste is collected seasonally during the month of May, last two weeks in October and first two weeks in November, on your regular day of collection.  Collection is limited to 6 compostable bags or containers per week.  Do not place yard waste out for collection during other weeks - it will not be collected.  Oversized residential yard waste is not collected but can still be delivered to the Town Disposal Site free of charge. 

Christmas Trees - collection runs the first full week in January after New Years Day - ONLY.  On your regular day of collection.

Batteries - single use household batteries are now collection during the month of November from curbside.  Place batteries in a clear bag on top of the blue box during the month of November only - do not put loose batteries in the blue box.

Bulky Items are not collected by the Town from curbside - but can be delivered to the Town Disposal Site fees may apply.

Hazardous Waste and Electronics are not collected by the Town from curbside - but can be delivered to the Town Disposal Site free of charge.  Hazardous waste drop off is limited to May thru September only.
