To all BVO Members: I am sure that you will not be surprised to learn that we have had to cancel our BVO Annual General Meeting which was scheduled for Tuesday March 31st in the library. Instead, we will have to handle the business part of the meeting via email. Therefore, within the next two weeks, we will be sending you our Review Engagement (audit) as well as three motions for your vote. One will be the approval of the minutes for the AGM 2019 (which you already have), one will be for approval of the Review Engagement, and one will be for the appointment of BDO Canada LLP as auditors for 2020. We will be asking to return your yes or no vote to an email address provided. We are sorry that we will not see you in person, but hope to have a future gathering once the Covid-19 virus has run its course and we can all resume our activities. For your information, while BVO has closed its programs and the Treasure Shop, we are still servicing those in need of our other services. We encourage people to phone 519-599-2577, ext. 122 before coming to the building. BVO wishes to thank all of you for your support during the past year. Please take good care of yourselves, and others who may need your help. Cathy Innes, Chair, on behalf of BVO Board of Directors
