Taoist Tai Chi arts™ BEGINNER CLASS  starting at the Beaver Valley Community Centre in Thornbury on Wednesday, January 15 from 9-11 am. Taoist Tai Chi™ arts are proven to benefit balance, strength, flexibility & circulation, as well as to improve over-all health & well-being of body, mind & spirit. Participants in a 16-week beginner session are introduced to a set of 108 gentle movements that are the foundation of Taoist Tai Chi™ arts. Registration first day of class.

CANCELLED - Taoist Tai Chi Arts Continuing Class

Location: Beaver Valley Community Centre - 58 Alfred Street West, Thornbury

Taoist Tai Chi arts are based on a set of 108 movements and proven to benefit balance, strength, flexibility & circulation, as well as to improve over-all health & well-being of body, mind & spirit.

Weekly classes in Thornbury are Wednesday from 10 am-noon at the Beaver Valley Community Centre.

Special annual rates for seniors. Members may join classes in 26 different countries at no extra charge. Beginner classes start frequently.

Taoist Tai Chi arts HEALTH RECOVERY CLASS

Health Recovery Classes make use of the Taoist Tai Chi arts to help alleviate the symptoms of chronic illness or injury. Through regular practice, participants will gain better balance, strength, flexibility and circulation, as well as a sense of relaxation and well being. Classes are offered on Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:30 at the Lora Bay Rec Centre. Come and check it out!

Adult skating is available at the Beaver Valley Community Centre Arena for participants who are 16 years of age or older at a cost of $3.00 per skater.

Helmets are not mandatory, but are strongly recommended for all skaters.

CANCELLED - Sidewalk Astronomy with the RASC

Meet us at the L.E.Shore Library Wednesday, March 18th from 11-12:30 pm, for an oppurtuity to see our closest star through a telescope. The RASC will be here and if the skies are clear they will have a telescope set up to show you sunspots and solar flares on our Sun, and show you how to safely observe the Sun at home. All ages. Free Event.
