A dedicated webpage regarding COVID-19 has been created for the Town of The Blue Mountains. To view the webpage, please visit: www.thebluemountains.ca/covid-19.cfm
The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public that a contractor will be completing CCTV inspections and condition assessments of Sanitary and Storm Sewers throughout the Town starting June 14, 2021 and continuing until October 31, 2021.
Residents are advised that there may be temporary lane restrictions while the work is being completed. No significant impact to traffic is anticipated. Due to the high pressure used in the inspections, residents may experience bubbling or noise in fixtures located on lower levels.
The CCTV inspections and condition assessments project is used to identify any defects or issues within the Sanitary and Storm Sewer system. Data collected is used for asset management and capital project planning.

The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public that a contractor will be making improvements to the water distribution network including watermain and roadworks construction in the following areas:
Date: June 7 to October 29, 2021
Time: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. weekdays
Traffic will be restricted to Local Traffic and Emergency Services only.
The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise residents who are supplied with Municipal Water that the annual flushing of fire hydrants and watermains is currently underway.
This is a routine maintenance procedure carried out in the Spring and Fall to ensure proper fire hydrant operation and water quality throughout the water distribution system. Lower water pressure due to hydrant flushing may be experienced in some areas.
Minor water discolouration may occur periodically and can be rectified by letting faucets run until clear.
