
Update: Extended Deferral on Decision
Staff Report PBS.25.028 was presented at the Committee of the Whole meeting on April 8, 2025. This report provides an update to Council on an earlier decision to defer the Zoning By-law Amendment (ZBA) Application for the subject property. The applicant has advised Town staff that additional time is needed to finalize the required studies. As such, staff recommends extending the deferral, which would lapse on October 31, 2025. The Committee voted in favour of this recommendation, which was carried at the Council Meeting on April 22, 2025.

SubscribeThe proposal is to re-zone the subject lands from the Open Space (OS) zone to the Residential One (R1-1) zone in order to permit the development of the lands for single detached residential purposes. Full municipal services are available at the property frontage and access is proposed via a new entrance from Highway 26.
