OPP Detachment Boards provide civilian input about how policing is provided in their local communities by the OPP. Based on the last enumeration, the composition of the Town Police Services Board is currently determined as five.
The current Board current composition is:
- Two members of Council (1 being the Mayor)
- Two members of the Public (appointed by Council)
- One Provincial Appointment (vacant)
The Town of The Blue Mountains OPP Detachment Board meets once every quarter, and rotates hosting an annual Joint Town of Collingwood and Town of The Blue Mountains Police Services Board meeting.
