Beaver Valley Community Centre

The Beaver Valley Community Centre is a licensable venue that offers a large hall, small hall, bar service area, and a certified kitchen. The full facility has a maximum standing capacity of 430 people (366 for licensed events). This facility is directly connected to the Beaver Valley Arena, which can be combined to provide additional space for larger events.


Programs Offered

Pickleball

The Pickleball programs are offered in the BVCC Large Hall by Thornbury Pickleball. Schedules and registration information can be referenced from the group's website.    

Seniors Card Games

The Seniors Card Games program is offered by a third party group. The program runs on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the BVCC Small Hall or Arena Lobby.  For more information about participating in this group, please call our Facility Manager at 519-599-3131 ext.340.

Skating Programs

The Town offers public skating programs at the BVCC Arena throughout the ice season.  For more information about these programs, visit the Public Skating page.

Taosit Tai Chi - On Hold During COVID

Taosit Tai Chi programs are offered in the BVCC Large and Small Halls by Taoist Tai Chi. For more information about schedules and registration, contact Tetsuko Jones by phone 519-538-4996 or by email.   

Gamble Walking Group

The Walking program is offered by the Town with no preregistration or fee requirements. Interested participants simply attend the BVCC Large Hall on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and walk in a climate controlled setting.

Beaver Valley Community Centre is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day

  1. Contact BVCC Staff for available rental times
  2. Staff will provide you with a Rental Contract to sign
  3. Pay for the booking

SOCAN Fees

SOCAN fees are licensing fees that are charged for the licensed public performance and/or communication to the public by telecommunication of a copyright-protected musical work. These fees are applicable for all rentals where music will be played during the rental period. The fees are based on capacity and are included on the rental application forms.
