Construction Notice - Craigleith Main Lift Station Upgrades

On behalf of the Town of The Blue Mountains, WT Infrastructure Inc. has completed the design and engineering for construction of upgrades at the Craigleith Main Sewage Lift Station.

The project has been tendered and the construction contract has been awarded to Peak Construction Group. Mobilization is expected to begin in May 2026. Construction activity will be occurring on town-owned land at 236 Lakeshore Road East in Craigleith.

Ministry of Transportation Initiating Environmental Assessment Regarding Highway 26 Intersection Improvements

The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to inform the public of a Provincial Transportation Project that has been recently announced focusing on multiple locations on Highway 26 within the Town's boundaries. 

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation has retained Elements Engineering Inc. to undertake the preliminary and detail design services for intersection and drainage improvements at Highway 26 and Arrowhead Road, and at Highway 26 and Grey Road 19. 

Notice of Community Engagement Session - Thornbury-Clarksburg Union Cemetery Green Burial Area

The Town of The Blue Mountains is holding a Community Engagement Session to introduce a project which will see the creation of a Green Burial Area at the Thornbury-Clarksburg Union Cemetery, as identified through The Town’s Cemetery Master Plan. Council approved the Cemetery Master Plan in November 2023.

SHIFT Landscape Architecture Contracted for Revitalization of Moreau Park and Design of Craigleith Community Park

The Town of The Blue Mountains is excited to announce that SHIFT Landscape Architecture has been contracted to complete the preliminary and final designs of two major community parks projects – the revitalization of Moreau Park in Thornbury, and the development of the new Craigleith Community Park.
