2025 Fall Fire Hydrant Flushing

The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise residents who are supplied with municipal water that the annual flushing of fire hydrants and watermains is currently underway.

Residents may experience lower water pressure and minor water discolouration while this work is being completed. If you experience water discolouration, please let your faucets run until clarity is restored.

This routine maintenance is carried out in the spring and fall to ensure proper fire hydrant operation and water quality throughout the water distribution system.
