OPP Detachment Boards provide civilian input about how policing is provided in their local communities by the O.P.P.
Based on the last enumeration, the composition of the Town Police Services Board is currently determined as five. Board Members are appointed for the term of Council in accordance with Section 6 of O. Reg. 135/24. The current Board current composition is:
- Two members of Council (1 being the Mayor)
- Two members of the Public (appointed by Council)
- One Provincial Appointment
Staff Resources include Detachment Commander Loris Licharson, Chief Administrative Officer Shawn Everitt and Deputy Clerk/Recording Secretary Kyra Dunlop.
