Bridge and Culvert Rehabilitation

The Town's Bridge and Culvert Rehabilitation program is a multi-year effort to repair deficiencies and extend the lifespan of a number of Town-owned structures. The scope of work will vary between sites but generally includes structural rehabilitation, surface repairs and guiderail replacement or rehabilitation.

Arnott Construction has been awarded the construction tender for the 2026 workplan which includes a total of seven bridges and culverts. Three of the bridges identified for rehabilitation in 2026 will require full closures while the work is being completed, while the remaining sites will only require single-lane restrictions. Work will be staggered so that only one structure is being rehabilitated at a time. The bridges which require temporary closures include:

  • Red Wing Bridge, 10th Line (Bridge 7)
  • 6th Line Bridge, north of 12th Sideroad (Bridge 8)
  • 11th Line Bridge, north of Sideroad 33 (Bridge 19)

More details about these bridges can be found in the corresponding sections on this page.
