Launched in 2022, the Town's annual Volunteer Recognition Awards event aims to celebrate and honour outstanding residents, community groups and organizations who work to enhance the quality of life in The Blue Mountains.

Volunteer Fair and Recognition Awards Information

The Town's Annual Volunteer Fair is a free event providing an opportunity for groups to connect with local residents looking to volunteer in the community.

2026 Volunteer Fair and Awards

Save the Date! This year's Volunteer Fair and Awards presentation will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at the Beaver Valley Community Centre.

Volunteer Fair: 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Volunteer Awards: Beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Award Categories and Past Winners

The volunteer recognition program recognizes individual volunteers and community groups in a specific category for their contributions to the community. One individual award and one group award is available per category unless otherwise stated.

The Town of The Blue Mountains hosted the 2025 Volunteer Recognition Awards & Volunteer Fair on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, as part of National Volunteer Recognition Week.
