Community Profile

The Town of The Blue Mountains is a thriving community located on the western shores of South Georgian Bay, along the lush, ridged landscape of the Niagara Escarpment. Home to just under 10,000 full-time residents and many more seasonally, the Blue Mountains was established on a strong economic foundation of agriculture and tourism.

The success of the local economy has been supported by innovation and entrepreneurship in tourism, agriculture, construction, small business and hospitality services. Though geographically large, the community has various business and commercial hubs throughout, including the Blue Mountain Village, Thornbury, Clarksburg, Craigleith, Heathcote and Ravenna.
