Clean Marine - Diamond Elite
Boating Ontario's Clean Marine Eco-Rating Program was founded to encourage marine businesses to adopt best environmental practices to reduce and prevent water, air and land pollution associated with recreational boating activities in Ontario. Through its most recent environmental audit, the Thornbury Harbour was successful in achieving a Diamond Elite rating which is the highest standard within the program.
Thornbury Yacht Club
The Thornbury Yacht Club is a small, not-too formal association of sail and powerboat enthusiasts who keep their boats in the Thornbury Harbour. The club operates independently of the Thornbury Harbour but maintains a close relationship with the Harbour Staff. The Yacht Club pavilion is also available for rental during the season.
