The Ontario Land Tribunal issued their decision and associated Order regarding the Alta Phase II (Tabera) Development Project in late December 2022. This order requires Grey County to administer the final approval of the draft plan of subdivision. In addition to this, the Town’s zoning by-law will also be amended.
There are a number of outstanding questions regarding the engineering and design of the Alta Phase II development that still need to be addressed to the satisfaction of the Town. The answers to these questions are likely to affect the outcome and preferred alternative for the Hidden Lake Road Class Environmental Assessment. Therefore, this project will be paused until these questions are answered.
