The Thornbury West Phase 2 Reconstruction project will include portions of Arthur Street West, Bay Street West, Bruce Street North, Elma Street North, Harbour Street, Huron Street West, King Street West, Lakeshore Drive, Lansdowne Street North, and Victoria Street North. This reconstruction work will include:
The project engineering budget was approved through the 2024 Town Budget process. Funding for this budget came from the IPW Asset Replacement Reserve Fund, Water Asset Replacement Reserve Fund, Wastewater Asset Placement Reserve Fund, Roads and Related Development Charges, Water Development Charges and Wastewater Development Charges. Through the engineering process, staff will be able to produce a more accurate estimate of the construction costs. The construction budget will be considered for approval in a subsequent year.
Council approved $6,000,000 in funding for engineering of the project through the 2024 Town Budget. Funding sources include IPW Asset Replacement Reserve Fund, Roads and Related Development Charges, the Water Asset Replacement Reserve Fund, Wastewater Asset Replacement Reserve Fund, Water Development Charges and Wastewater Development Charges.
