Join Brenda Joy Roden, local author of “Belly Boobs and Belly Laughs: Yes, You Can Have Cancer and STILL Find Things to Chuckle About” for an intimate evening author talk.
Brenda was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017 at the age of 53. Inspired by her experience through diagnosis and treatment, she decided to write a book that would help others on the same journey, while also reminding them that “You are still you - and you are most definitely allowed to still laugh.”
This will be an open, honest, and, yes, even humorous at times evening. Brenda will explore her book and journey and invites participants to share their own thoughts and reflections.
