The Town of The Blue Mountains and Tree Trust TBM have received a Tree Canada “Treemendous Communities” grant to plant trees and shrubs to expand the naturalized area of Nipissing Ridge Park. The Town is looking for volunteers from the community to assist with planting activities.

When: Saturday, October 28, 2023, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
This Tree Canada Treemendous Communities grant project has been funded by TC Energy. Tree Canada relies on the generous support of corporate sponsors and individual donors to fund their programs. Projects funded based on Tree Canada’s evaluation criteria and application process, help build much-needed tree canopy for long lasting community benefits across Canada. Community partners delivering this project include the Town of The Blue Mountains, Tree Trust TBM and Arboreal Tree Care Professionals.
