Shine! Is a family-friendly gathering
A showcase of special talents of a few brave regular people, A chance to celebrate courage, creativity and community, A chance to inspire, and be inspired.
We are actively looking for people - individuals and groups - to share and shine their special gifts. The piece should be something that stretches you in a direction that is in alignment with who you are excited to be becoming. It should be no more than 5 mins long. It should not require more than a minute to set up. (a few exceptions may be made) Possible pieces: a poem, a song, a story, a dance/ movement piece, a very short play, comedy, monologue, choir, light show, mime, jokes &/or riddles, visual art with a story, juggling.
The Sharing Kindness Fund shares locally-created, kindness-spreading Love Notes in new corners of our community and beyond! Love Notes are small, colourful scrolls with loving affirmations that have a magical and uncanny way of landing in the right person’s hands. They warm hearts and make the world a more beautiful and connected place!
