The Town of The Blue Mountains proudly raised the Pride Flag earlier this week at Town Hall in recognition of national Pride Month and to celebrate the LGBTQ2+ community.
“We are an inclusive community that supports and welcomes everyone,” explained Mayor Soever. “Each year, the Town is proud to raise the Pride Flag at Town Hall to demonstrate the community support and welcomeness to all residents and visitors to the community. We look forward to keeping this tradition of raising the Pride Flag for years to come.”
June 2020 marks the 50th anniversary of the annual LGBTQ2+ Pride traditions. The Pride Flag will be raised until the end of the month.
