The Town of The Blue Mountains, together with Blue Mountain Village Association and the Town of Collingwood, are excited to co-host a live-streamed virtual Canada Day celebration that you can enjoy from home!
Supported by BruceGreySimcoe and the Province of Ontario, the Canada Day celebration will be hosted by John Eaton from 95.1 The Peak FM and live-streamed from 6:00pm – 9:00pm on peaktoshore.ca. The virtual celebrations will include local entertainers such as The Leynes Brothers, Victoria Yeh, Mike McCarthy Band, Singing Soldiers, Shane Cloutier, and Jenie Thai and will showcase the people and places of South Georgian Bay.
“The Town is excited and happy to be able to partner with the Blue Mountain Village Association and the Town of Collingwood to offer virtual Canada Day celebrations for 2020,” explained Mayor Soever. “The year has presented unique challenges and opportunities, and the community deserves a safe way to come together and celebrate our great Country, while we continue to practice safe and responsible physical distancing. This year’s Canada Day festivities will also highlight and pay tribute to the essential frontline workers who have kept this community vibrant and safe throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and its recovery process”.
