A Canadian Union of Postal Workers strike was initiated on September 25. Mail delivery to and from the Town of The Blue Mountains may be significantly delayed and/or stopped for the duration of the strike.
The Blue Mountains Fire Services Department is responsible for providing fire and rescue services, emergency preparedness, and fire prevention for The Blue Mountains community. Public education is the first step towards providing fire safety.
Municipal law enforcement is provided by the By-law Enforcement Division. The goal is to serve, protect, and provide a desired quality of life for residents and visitors of the Town of The Blue Mountains.
