The Town of the Blue Mountains would like to congratulate the week one $250 prize package winner, Nean from Kimberly, and the week two $250 prize package winner, Bonnie from Thornbury. There are still three weekly $250 prizes and the $2500 grand prize out there, so please shop local and enter for your chance to win.
“Understanding the impacts of COVID-19, it is so important that we support our local businesses and shop local this holiday season,” explained Mayor Alar Soever. “The shop local contest has been a great success so far with over 580 entries in the first two weeks, with well over 90% being from the Town of The Blue Mountains or a neighbouring community. This campaign is a great example of how we can all contribute to supporting our local businesses by shopping local either in person or online this holiday season.”
To help support local businesses this holiday season, the Town of The Blue Mountains launched the Give the Gift of Blue shop local campaign. The campaign encourages residents to shop at their favourite local businesses and enter the contest for a chance to win a weekly prize package valued at $250 and the grand prize package valued at $2500. A listing of local businesses can be found on our exploreblue.ca website.
With marketing and advertising targeted to the local area, the campaign is a coordinated partnership between the Blue Mountain Village Association, Thornbury BIA, Clarksburg Village Association, Grey County, South Georgian Bay Tourism, and the Blue Mountains Chamber of Commerce.
