“I want to thank Melody Fox, Nurse Practitioner, and Dr. Tim Remillard for spearheading this initiative, and Bill Abbots and all of the community volunteers, as well as  Dr. Sauriol and Dr. Klages for contributing to this effort.” stated Mayor Alar Soever.  “I also want to thank the Owen Sound Family Health Team for assisting with some of the clinics. The Grey Bruce Health Unit  and Dr. Arra have been great in supporting us by supplying us with the necessary vaccine.”

“The response of residents in Grey Bruce to get vaccinated has so far been excellent, but we can’t let up yet,” said Dr. Ian Arra, Medical Officer of Health for the GBHU. “Case numbers continue to be concerning due to the Delta variant. We need more people getting their first and second doses as soon as possible. Vaccination is the key to defeating this pandemic.”
