The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise residents that Curbside Garbage and Recyclable Collection will occur as usual for the Civic Holiday, Monday, August 2, 2021, and the remainder of the week.
Residents are reminded that:
- Garbage, Compost and Recycling must be curbside by 7:00 a.m.
- All material placed in your garbage and compost must be bagged.
- Place all used gloves, masks and other protective equipment in the garbage as they are not recyclable.
- Bag limit - first bag/can is free, second bag/can must be tagged.
- Cardboard is flattened, cut into 18” x 24” size and placed next to your recycle bins.
- Solid Waste Disposal Site Hours: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- The Household Hazardous Waste Depot is open May 4th to September 30, 2021.
