The following press release is being shared by the Town on behalf of the Blue Mountains Attainable Housing Corporation.
The Blue Mountains Attainable Housing Corporation (BMAHC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Bisley as the Corporation’s new Executive Director, effective November 8, 2021. As Executive Director, Jennifer will provide strategic leadership to progress the development of attainable housing opportunities in The Blue Mountains and oversee management responsibilities of the BMAHC.
Rob Sampson Chairperson of the BMAHC states, “Jennifer joins us having previously worked with the Canmore Community Housing Corporation to expand rental and ownership options for employees and locals in the resort community. She brings more than 15 years of experience in leadership positions dedicated to housing strategy, development, programs, and community engagement in the public and non-profit sectors.”
The Blue Mountains Attainable Housing Corporation is a not-for-profit organization that seeks to provide attainable housing for working families of modest means. It has become evermore apparent that there is a need for attainable housing for the “missing middle” of our community and particularly after the covid-19 pandemic. The BMAHC is looking forward to continuing its partnership with The Town of Blue Mountains, development organizations and the community of The Blue Mountains to further support the development of attainable housing.
