The Town of The Blue Mountains joins communities across Canada in commemorating Remembrance Day. In accordance with public health guidelines, the following ceremonies are available to the community:
- Candlelit Vigil of Remembrance with the local Girl Guides of Canada:

- Thornbury Remembrance Day Service:

Time: 10:50 a.m.

- Ravenna Remembrance Day Service:

Time: 1:00 p.m.
Location: Ravenna Cenotaph
Residents who wish to learn more about the area’s local military heroes are encouraged to visit the Craigleith Depot’s online exhibit “Our Military Heritage”.
For those who are planning to join an in-person ceremony are reminded to follow all current public health guidelines through physical distancing, wearing a mask or face covering when physical distancing is not possible, and staying home if you are feeling unwell.
In addition, Town Hall will be closed on Thursday, November 11, 2021 for Remembrance Day.
