This Notice is for anyone proposing to be a candidate in the 2026 school board elections within the Municipality of Meaford, City of Owen Sound and Town of The Blue Mountains.
Candidates may file a nomination form during regular business hours from May 1, 2026 with the last day for filing being August 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Electronic filing of nominations is not permitted.
A prescribed fee in the amount of $100.00 payable by cash, debit, certified cheque or money order, must accompany the registration/nomination form.
The term for School Board Trustee begins on November 16, 2026, for a four (4) year term.
