The Town of The Blue Mountains is flying the Town Hall flags at half-mast to mark the passing of former employee Harold Gekill.
Harold started with the Township of Collingwood in June 1980 in waste collection before moving to the landfill, where he worked until his retirement in June of 2009.
On behalf of Council and staff, the Town would like to share its sincere condolences with the Gekill family. The flags at Town Hall will remain lowered until Wednesday, June 17, 2026, out of respect for Harold and his family.
