Join Lily the Engineer and step into the shoes of real engineers, using everyday materials to solve fun, practical problems while learning how to brainstorm, build, test, and improve designs.
July 14th - Tower Building Challenge: Join us for our Spaghetti Marshmallow Tower Building Challenge! Kids will team up to create the tallest freestanding tower they can using simple materials, creativity, and a little engineering know-how.
July 28th - Zipline Challenge: Can you get an object safely from the top of a zip line to the bottom in record time? Kids will build, test, and tweak their own zip line carriers while exploring balance, speed, and friction.
August 11th - Robotic Hand Challenge: Build a hand that can bend, grab, and move. Kids will create a working model robotic hand and discover how strings, joints, and clever design can mimic the way our own hands work.
August 25th - Paper Airplane Challenge: Ready for takeoff? Kids will fold, fly, test, and redesign paper airplanes to see whose creation can soar the farthest.
