Our New Communications and Economic Development Coordinator
On behalf of Interim CAO, Shawn Everitt we are pleased to announce the hiring of Tim Hendry as our Communications and Economic Development Coordinator.
Tim has held the position of Communications and Marketing Coordinator for the Township of Clearview since 2015. In his current role Tim provides active leadership and strategic communications advice to members of Council, senior management and to community partners/stakeholders. In addition, he serves as the key spokesperson and media contact for the municipality.
Prior to his role at Clearview Tim was the Owner and Principal of TRH Marketing, a company which developed digital marketing strategies for non-for-profit organizations and private businesses through social media marketing, branding, website development and online advertising.
Tim is a graduate of the Laurentian University Bachelor of Business Administration program and also the Humber College Marketing Diploma program. In addition, Tim has completed Year One of the Economic Development Certificate through the University of Waterloo.
Tim is passionate about municipal communications, community economic development, and proactive public engagement. Tim will join the Administration team at the Town of The Blue Mountains on October 1, 2018.
