Program Begins October 15, 2018 at St. George's Church in Clarksburg
The MUSIC AFTER SCHOOL Instrumental program had a flying start at the Introductory Session on October 1, 2018 at St.George’s Anglican Church in Clarksburg. A group of enthusiastic music students from Beaver Valley Community School and Georgian Bay Community School, many having attended the Southampton Summer Music Camp, showed a solid background in band and ensemble playing. Band Director Ken Paterson, recently retired music educator with 30 years experience, was delighted with the musical knowledge and sound of the group.
The concert band instruction starts on Monday October 15, 2018 from 4-6 pm with sessions every following Monday and ending on Monday December 17, 2018.
Clarinet and flute players are particularly welcome, but most brass, woodwind and percussion instruments will still find a place to be heard.
