The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to provide an update to residents regarding the provincial-wide technical issues that occurred last night with the Dominion Voting system. As of late last night, all issues have been fixed and the system is working as expected.
Voting Update:
• The voting period has been extended to 8:00pm on Tuesday, October 23rd, 2018;
• All successfully submitted votes have been properly recorded within the system. There was no loss of data as a result of the technical issues;
• If you have not voted, you may vote using the Voter ID and PIN number that was previously provided;
• If you attempted to vote but did not receive the confirmation message stating “Your Vote Has Been Successfully Cast”, please re-access the system and cast your vote.
If you did not receive your Voter ID or if you require assistance to vote, please visit the Town of The Blue Mountains Town Hall Election Help Centre where staff are ready to provide assistance.
