Through the 2024 Town Budget process, Council approved funding for preliminary engineering for the reconstruction of Arrowhead Road between Highway 26 and Arrowhead Crescent. There are several known issues with slope stability, substandard watermain, drainage and wastewater needs along this section of road.
Completion of the preliminary engineering will give staff the ability to better understand the necessary project scope. The project will also be influenced by the final findings of the Hidden Lake Road Environmental Assessment. Funding for the engineering came from the Roads and Related Development Charges, Water Asset Replacement Reserve Fund and Wastewater Asset Replacement Reserve Fund.
Council approved $360,000 in funding for preliminary engineering of the project through the 2024 Town Budget. Funding sources include Roads and Related Development Charges, the Water Asset Replacement Reserve Fund and the Wastewater Asset Replacement Reserve Fund.
