Scenic Caves Parking Lot
The Town received a Site Plan Application for a new overflow parking area for Scenic Caves Nature Adventures associated with their main property, south of 15th Sideroad A. The Site Plan application shall address vehicle and pedestrian access, site entrance location, site drainage and grading, landscaping, buffering and other items.
Previous applications for an Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment for the use of overflow parking area were approved by Town Council and the County of Grey. These decisions were appealed to the Local Planning Appeals Tribunal (LPAT). The LPAT dismissed the appeals which means the Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment are in full force and effect as of May 2021. The LPAT decision is also posted on this page.
