The Town of the Blue Mountains (Town) has completed a Schedule B Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) for the Sanitary Lift Station, Associated Inlet Trunk Sewer and the Septage Receiving Station Relocation alternatives. The purpose of the EA study was to determine the preferred approach to meet increasing sanitary flows at the Craigleith Sanitary Pumping Station and improve facility operations in terms of reliability, safety, noise and odour.

The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of an emergency temporary road closure. The closure will be in place from 194 Bay Street East to 149 Bayview Avenue in Thornbury on Monday, January 22. This closure is due to a water service leak repair.

The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of a temporary lane restriction. A single lane will be closed in the area of 210-212 Peel Street North in Thornbury on Thursday, December 7 and Friday, December 8. This is to allow Enbridge Gas to complete an emergency repair.

The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of an emergency temporary road closure. Bay Street East in Thornbury will be closed from Elgin Street to Grey Street on Tuesday, November 28. This closure is due to a water main break. Properties within this area will also experience reduced water pressure. Access will be maintained from Grey Street for residents living in the immediate area.

The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of an upcoming temporary lane restriction. A single lane will be closed in the area of 242 Arrowhead Road on Tuesday, November 21. This is to allow Link-On Communications to complete bore hole work on behalf of Rogers Communications. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.

The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise residents that the Landfill & Recycling Depot will be closed on Saturday, November 11, 2023 in recognition of Remembrance Day.
