Waste Management and Litter Control By-law

Synopsis

By-law 2023-69 was implemented to allow the Town to:

  • Regulate the collection and/or disposal of garbage, organics, recyclables, and other waste materials
  • Operate and maintain the Solid Waste Disposal Site
  • Control littering within municipal boundaries

The by-law also includes the following schedules:

  • Schedule A - Recyclable Material Accepted for Waste Collection Services
  • Schedule B - Organic Waste Accepted for Waste Collection Services
  • Schedule C - Yard Waste Material Accepted for Waste Collection Services
  • Schedule D - Curbside Collection Waste Preparation and Limits
  • Schedule E - Administrative Monetary Penalties
